Meet Our Staff Amy Sackman has lots of energy so come to class ready to sing and dance. I am delighted to be teaching at Music for Little People again. My children were regulars in Miss Bonnie's classes, which I always enjoyed as much as they did. I spent years attending workshops/seminars and served as an intern followed by substitute teaching while continuing to take great pleasure in making music with children. My educational background is in visual art and photography, but music has always been my passion. In my home, singing together is one of the activities that unite us as a family. I look forward to helping bring the joy and wonder of music to other households and families. Kathy Florence has a real understanding of young children and her classes are lots of fun. I am very pleased to be joining Music for Little People and I am so excited to be able to share my two passions: music and working with children. I have been involved with music all my life beginning with singing and voice lessons, leading to the study of Music Therapy at Anna Maria College in Paxton, MA. I provided music therapy professionally at St. Mary's Home, a nursing home in Connecticut before raising 3 children of my own. During that time, I began a rewarding career as a Family DayCare Provider. I have continued as an active musician by singing in A Cappella Group and as a Church Cantor and Soloist as well as directing choirs and teaching private piano and voice lessons.
